A rough guide only. Genetics, diet and neutering all affect final size, and crossbreeds vary the most. Weigh your puppy at the same time of day each week, and ask your vet if they seem to be growing too fast or too slowly.

How the puppy size calculator works
Puppies of different sizes grow at different speeds. Toy breeds are usually fully grown by around 9 months, while giant breeds can keep growing until they're about 18 months old. The calculator uses a typical growth curve for each size class to work out what share of their adult weight your puppy has reached, then estimates their final size from that.
Tips for a healthy growing puppy
Feed a puppy food made for their expected adult size. Large and giant breeds need large-breed puppy food to help their joints develop well.
Keep them lean. Growing too fast puts strain on young joints. Our portion calculator gives a starting point, and your vet can check their body shape.
